We arrived at Postino in Highlands Ranch and were seated in a booth in the main dining room. General Manager, Bri Tanner and Server, Kat took great care of us throughout our dinner. Bri was active on the restaurant floor with her team & Kat had great energy and stellar recommendations for us.
For Table Bites we had the Skewers and the Sweet Potato Wedges.
The Skewers were made with grilled petite filet, chicken, Sicilian garlic yogurt and olive oil.
The marinated chicken was grilled to perfection. The bright and tangy tzatziki sauce was loaded with fresh flavor and really made the flavor of the chicken pop. The tzatziki sauce was garlicky, a little lemony and had a lightness from the dill and olive oil.
The Sweet Potato Wedges were made with whipped feta, wild arugula, dill, crostini & lavash bread.
The Sweet Potato Wedges were huge - lightly salted on the outside and tender on the inside.
For our Bruschetta Board we chose 4 options: the Ricotta, Dates & Pistachio - Sweet N’ Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese - Burrata, Bacon, Arugula & Tomato - and the Brie, Apple & Fig Spread.
The Sweet N’ Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese was our favorite. The sticky & sweet, spicy red pepper jelly topped the creamy goat cheese on the lightly toasted bruschetta - the perfect balance of crunch, sweet, tang & spice.
For sandwiches we had the Prosciutto & Brie Panini on focaccia. The sandwich was made with prosciutto di parma, brie, fig jam, arugula, balsamic vinegar & olive oil.
The Prosciutto & Brie Panini was a warm and cheesy comfort sandwich. The brie melted nicely into the focaccia making for ooey, gooey bites. The panini was loaded with salty prosciutto that went beautifully with the sweet fig jam.
For dessert we had the Salted Caramel Sundae. The sundae was made with vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate covered corn nuts, pretzel sticks & warm salted caramel.
This was the a sweet and salty ice cream treat. The piping hot caramel on the cold vanilla bean ice cream made for mouthwatering bites. The corn nuts and pretzel sticks added a crunch in texture to the dessert.
Big thanks to Postino, GM Bri Tanner, Kat, Nicolle Montgomery, Katie Toppin and B Public Relations for hosting us!
