We attended The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience over the weekend & had an extraordinary evening. This elegant event took us back in time to an 1813 London with interactive activities, acrobatic performances, set recreations, & more.
A Bridgerton Experience is being held in RiNo - 3403 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO 80216. We arrived and found parking in the lot directly next to the event space. Parking was $10 and they were accepting cash or card. There was a bit of a line to get inside so we highly recommend bringing a jacket - there is a coat check inside (VIP tickets get to check their coats for free).
Everyone was dressed to impress in formal wear - I’m talking gowns, crowns, gloves, suits & Regency inspired outfits.
We made our way inside & walked through a dreamy wisteria tunnel - this was a fabulous spot for video & photo ops.
There were 4 bars throughout the experience where guests 21+ could enjoy cocktails (IDs were checked onsite). Our VIP tickets included a free glass of champagne and an elevated VIP viewing area complete with tables & seating where purses and cocktails could be set down. We found ourselves a table, set down our belongings & explored the beautifully decorated ballroom.
We had the opportunity to interact with actors dressed in Regency-era costumes. The actors taught us how to dance Regency-era style to live music inspired by the iconic Bridgerton soundtrack.
Her Majesty, the Queen was in attendance. We all had the chance to present ourselves to her with our best curtsey or bow in hopes of becoming the diamond of the season (VIP tickets had an expedited line for presentation). Curtseying for the Queen was an adrenaline rush none of us expected - we all had butterflies while we waited to present ourselves and then were all smiles afterwards. I got an “Exquisite” from her Majesty following my curtsey & was beaming ear-to-ear.
There were acrobatic performances, interactive experiences, a stunning dance show & plenty of surprises around every corner.
Following the show we all got to break it down on the dance floor to modern tunes before heading into the post show space. The post show space had plenty more photo ops, activities & a gift shop.
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime evening of music & dance - the girls and I had the absolute best time. Lady Whistledown approved!
