Denver Foodies, are you craving happy hour deals? Capri Seafood Bar has their "Capri Hour" (Mon-Thurs 12pm-7pm).
Upon arrival at Capri Seafood, we were transported to a lively & eclectic, ocean-core bar. The aesthetic embraced vibrant colors & marine life - there was a focus on deep blues, greens, & shimmering scales at the bar.
Staff Michelle, Ashley, & Diego took great care of us. The happy hour menu was extensive, and they led us through their offerings. Diego was kind, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed while we dined.
Here's the Capri Hour lowdown: The Margaritas were only $5.99. We tried the Strawberry & Mango - vibrant colors & delicious taste. I would order both of these again.
From the regular menu, they had a selection of craft cocktails with impressive presentation.
The Happy Hour Tacos were only $3.99 and we had the choice of Battered Fish, Skirt Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, Octopus, or Potato. Our favorite tacos were the Battered Fish. The battered fish had a crispy, golden-brown exterior & the inside was tender and flaky. The fish paired perfectly with the spicy aioli.
The Tostadas were $4.99. The Shrimp Aguachile was a hit - fresh with zing.
Shrimp Quesadilla & other specialties were only $3.99.
From their regular menu, we tried the overflowing Molcajete loaded with meat & seafood - perfect for sharing.
For dessert, we had vanilla ice cream atop fresh cornbread.
