Aprés in the Streets, Taste of Vail 2024
Après in the Streets at the Taste of Vail 2024 upped the ante on culinary excellence, featuring not only Vail's finest chefs, but also guest stars from across the US and even Mexico.
The epic 'Fitch Ranch Nose to Tail Chef Challenge' had an elite group of Vail and guest chefs going head-to-head in a culinary face-off featuring Colorado’s premier Fitch Ranch grass-fed, humanely raised beef. Chefs were given an unknown cut of beef and used their skills to create inventive and delectable dishes. Winners were selected by an expert judging panel. The creativity that flew out of these chefs was unreal!
The deliciousness didn't stop there. Nearly 100 wineries from all over the country poured their finest selections, expertly paired with the chefs' masterpieces. And for something new, this year Après in the Streets hosted a Port Wine Fest! Featuring over 40 Portuguese producers, authentic fare from renowned Portuguese chefs, and traditional Portuguese music, it was a trip to Europe without leaving Vail.
Angela Mueller, Executive Director of Taste of Vail, summed it up perfectly: "This year's Après in the Streets was amazing! We had Vail's incredible local talent, exciting guest chefs showcasing their skills, and the fantastic Port Wine Fest.
