Bar Cupid at The Inverness Denver - a Hilton resort - is decked out in roses & hearts and is ready to immerse you in the love. We arrived and we were seated at the bar. The staff, Toni, Danielle, & Gabe were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed while we dined.

Cupid’s Cocktails menu had several craft cocktail offerings with Valentine’s flair. We ordered the Be Mine Blood Orange Spritzer, the Pretty in Pink, and the Forget-Me-Not.

The Be Mine Blood Orange Spritzer was my favorite and was made with tequila, St. Germain, blood orange syrup, lime juice, orange bitters, and Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut Rosé.

This cocktail had an aroma of ripe orange. The initial impression was lively yet dry with subtle citrus flavors followed by bubbles.

Our meal began with a Charcuterie Board that had an assortment of meats, nuts, & fruit.

For Starters we had the Duck Fat Frites & Vanilla Bean Squash Soup.

The Duck Fat Frites were coated with cayenne sugar and served with tarragon aioli.

The cayenne sugar made the fries so flavorful in the best way possible - sweet with a little bit of spice. The aioli was tangy with a cool, creamy texture; it paired nicely with the warm, crisp fries. A must order!

The Vanilla Bean Squash Soup was made with butternut squash, vanilla bean dusting, and toasted pumpkin seeds.

For Entrees we had the NY Strip Steak and the Pan Seared Salmon,

The NY Strip Steak was topped with shallot blue cheese butter, port wine syrup, & served alongside mascarpone whipped potatoes.

The NY Strip was cooked perfectly and was my favorite of the entire meal. The steak paired with the rich whipped potatoes made for hearty and comforting bites.

The Pan Seared Salmon was topped with arugula heirloom tomato salad and served alongside roasted poblano goat cheese grits.
