Battle of the Bruschetta, Postino


Battle of the Bruschetta continues at Postino! Now through Labor Day, a lineup of limited-edition bruschetta are in competition for a permanent spot on the menu. It's a three-month, bracket-style competition between eight limited-time bruschetta recipes developed by Postino executive chefs. What will your favorite be?

Every two weeks Postino is featuring two new bruschetta to battle to the finals. From June 1st - Labor Day, during each two-week battle round, guests can order two competing bruschetta flavors and vote on their favorite by texting “BATTLE” to (602) 637-1510.

We checked out Battle of the Bruschetta at the Postino in Highlands Ranch. We were seated inside the main dining room.

Our server Brooke was awesome - she was attentive & timely with our orders. General Manager, Blake was so nice & ensured we'll be back to visit Postino very soon.

Let’s meet the contenders! This week, Strawberry Cheesecake was taking on Sweet Potato Pie.

The Strawberry Cheesecake was made with vanilla bean cheesecake spread, fresh strawberry, & chopped pistachio.

The Sweet Potato Pie was made with secret sweet potato pie filling, mascarpone, & candied pecans.

The Strawberry Cheesecake is battling the Sweet Potato Pie 7/13 - 7/26. It was a close call but Maddie & I both voted for the Sweet Potato Pie.

For Sips we each had Lemonades - I had the Blackberry Smash & Maddie had the Cucumber Honey Lemonade.

The Blackberry Smash was made with green tea, housemade lemonade & blackberry. The perfect refreshing drink for a hot summer day.

Other eats we tried out during our visit were the OG Bruschetta Board, the Tuscan Tuna Panini, & the Chicken & Mozzarella Panini.

The OG Bruschetta board is always a great order and my favorite is the Sweet N’ Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese.

The Tuscan Tuna Panini was made with albacore tuna, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, white cheddar, pickle, & dijonnaise. The Chicken & Mozzarella Panini was made with roasted chicken, fresh mozzarella, arugula, red onion, & spicy sun-dried tomato aioli.
