Snowmobiling, Brush Creek Ranch
Brush Creek Ranch secured its rating as one of the Top USA Resorts by offering all-inclusive access to a vast array of activities. Those activities unfold over 30,000 acres and in the winter include snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, ice skating, ice fishing, shooting, hunting & so much more. During our stay, we got to snowmobile & had an absolute blast. BCR is one of the top five snowmobiling destinations in the country.

From the Lodge, we headed out to the Activities Barn to get suited up.
BCR had all the gear we needed including heavy jackets, snow pants, boots, helmets, goggles, gloves, handwarmers & water. From there we took a 15 minute car ride to Medicine Bow National Forest.
We elected to snowmobile for a 1/2 day and were able to choose the intensity of our adventure. We had two expert guides snowmobile with us - Travis & Brayden - both were awesome. Our guides went over safety measures, hand signals & how to work the snowmobile. Then we were off!
We explored miles of trails through Medicine Bow's deep powder. Within the first 10 minutes, I accidentally launched my snowmobile into a ditch trying to come out of a turn - those things are harder to steer than I thought! Luckily, the fresh powder was there to catch both myself and the snowmobile. No harm, no foul. Our guides and Ross were able to get my snowmobile back on the trail quickly and we were off again.
The forest offered 425 miles of trails. Our guides took us to an open meadow where we were able to bomb around and really get our speed & adrenaline up.
Following the meadow, we headed to the top of of the mountain for some steep riding. Then we headed back down; our 1/2 day trip was about 3 hours.
What freaking awesome time and a major upper-body workout!
Huge thanks to Brush Creek Ranch, Travis, Brayden, Karli Sullivan, Morgan Hopper, Savannah King & B Public Relations for hosting us!
