Cherry Creek North, Holiday Market
First stop: Cherry Creek North's Holiday Market. We shopped local and enjoyed festive entertainment at this premier holiday shopping experience. The market featured more than 40 vendors and a wide array of gift options from area artisans and local brands. It was dog friendly, and we got in our fair share of puppy love. The market is open daily from Nov 16 - Dec 24.
Second stop: Mistletoe Lounge (located inside the Holiday Market). We warmed up and got cozy inside this all-new holiday pop-up bar. The Mistletoe Lounge offered a festive drink menu and comfy seating. The skilled mixologists behind the bar created a stellar lineup of holiday-themed alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Brandon took care of us and had the best recommendations.

Mocha Espresso Martini
I highly recommend the Mocha Espresso Martini made with vodka, cold brew, coffee liqueur, chocolate syrup, & chocolate shavings - this indulgent cocktail was freaking delicious, and we couldn't get enough. We hung out in the lounge for quite some time; it was well heated, and the place was buzzing with festive energy. The Mistletoe Lounge is open daily from Nov 16 - Dec 24.
Third stop: Light the World Giving Machines. New to the market this season, the Giving Machines added to the spirit of the season, by giving visitors a chance to give to those in need. Users inserted a credit card, chose the specific item they wanted to donate, and then a block representing their gift fell into a bin for collection.

Donors were helping people in need of infant care, meals, or experiences for special needs individuals, & so much more. To date, Giving Machines have raised $22 million worldwide and 100% of donations go directly to the charities! The machines in Cherry Creek North are open 24/7 for donations.
To really make this an unforgettable holiday experience, our fourth stop was at the Jacquard hotel in Cherry Creek North for a staycation and dinner at their restaurant, Narrative.

The Jacquard is a captivating hotel in Denver's iconic Cherry Creek North - the hotel was only one block from the holiday market, so we walked there easily. Book your stay at Jacquard HERE.
Check in was seamless and the front desk attendees were really pleasant & professional. The lobby was decorated for Christmas.

We stayed in a King Guest Room with a mountain view (we also had great views of the Cherry Creek North neighborhood & all the Christmas lights).

There were floor to ceiling windows, thoughtful in-room amenities, and chic mod decor. The bed was so comfortable & I snuggled the large down pillows all night long.
Once settled in our room, we headed downstairs for dinner at Narrative. The place was packed and we were seated in the main dining room. The aesthetic of the restaurant was airy with clean lines and a white bookshelf wall display was the main focal point.

Our server Mariah was fantastic! She recommended each item we ordered and knew the menu inside and out.
The Lobster Corndogs were served with jalapeño hot sauce & smoked pepper honey.
The Tuna Poke was made with avocado, sesame ponzu, green onion, yuzu kusho, & furikake rice crackers. This starter was fresh & bright - the tender fish, creamy avocado, and delicately crisp rice crackers had a really good texture combination.

The Caesar Salad was made with romaine, shaved pecorino, buttered panko, & cured egg yolk. This was one of the best Caesar salads we have had in Denver - the shaved pecorino generously coated each leaf of the crisp lettuce.

The Braised Short Rib was made with mascarpone polenta, roasted mushrooms, hazelnut, & orange mustarda. The short rib was so tender it fell apart under our forks. It had a robust flavor of succulent beef and combined with the mascarpone polenta, it made for decadent bites.

The Diver Scallops were made with butternut squash, parsnip, roasted apple, & cider gastrique.

We finished up dinner and headed to bed at Jacquard.
