We arrived at Hilton Denver Inverness and headed inside to The Garden Terrace where brunch is held. The four of us were seated in the main dining room. The aesthetic of The Garden Terrace is warm with lots of natural light & dimensionality created by wooden ceiling beams and exposed brick. There was live music in the brunch area which we really enjoyed.
We began our meal with bottomless mimosas & coffee. We had big smiles all around as the champagne & caffeine started flowing!
The Inverness brunch staff - Chelsie & Clara - were so sweet & kept our drinks topped off our entire meal.
Time for food! We ventured to the buffett and took a lap to get our bearings - there are SO many options available in the Champagne Sunday Brunch spread. I'm talking about an elaborate shellfish display (snow crab, oysters, mussels & shrimp), assorted sushi, tuna poke, slow roasted prime rib, an omelette station, traditional eggs benedict, waffles, french toast, bacon, sausage, salmon florentine & so much more!
Chelsea was ready to get it cracking when it came to the snow crab legs.
The crab legs had a firm texture and were briny in flavor.
The omelette station was my favorite - I got an omelette loaded with all the fresh veggies & cheese.
The eggs were fluffy and soft in texture and each bite was filled with bright vegetables. The jalapenos added nice spice which was offset beautifully by the savory cheese. It was the perfect omelette!
My next favorite was the waffles - I topped them with hot chocolate sauce, whipped cream, strawberries & rainbow sprinkles.
With all of the waffle toppings offered, there were pretty much endless combos for delicious fun!
Now for the dessert bar! There were fruit tarts, boston cream pie cupcakes, donuts with flambeed berries and housemade vanilla ice cream, assorted macaroons, coconut cream pie, churro cheesecake, candy and peanut butter banana bundt cake (to name a few).
All of our sweet tooth's were singing; my favorite had to be the raspberry fudge brownies.
Following our brunch, we walked around the lovely Inverness property and spent some time relaxing in the Fireside lounge & on the porch outside. It was such a nice day and it's easy to want to stay awhile at Inverness.
