WingWok

WingWok opened its first Colorado location this month and we couldn't wait to check it out for a take-out dinner experience. Who doesn’t want to eat more Seol food?

WingWok offers take-out and delivery only - it's a great, quick option for some Korean goodness! The staff at WingWok was informative, enthusiastic and speedy! We had our full order in about 10 minutes.

WingWok specializes in Korean Wok-Fried Chicken - the chicken is twice-fried and gluten-free. YUM! The twice-fried, gluten-free Korean Fried Chicken Miracles can be ordered in the form of wings, tenders, the Miracle Chicken Burger or the K.S.B. (Korean Ssam Burrito). All of WingWok’s chicken creations are wok-finished in WingWok's special YANGNYEOMMY sauces, a combination of yangnyeom and yummh.

WingWok’s wings and tenders come in five delicious flavors: soy garlic, tangy citrus, signature Go+Chu+Jang and naked for the wing purist (seasoned with simple salt and pepper). We had four kinds of the wings - the Go+Chu+Jang, Soy Garlic, Tangy Citrus and Korean Dry-Rub “Buffalo”.

The Go+Chu+Jang is the Korean staple of WingWok's wings - sweet and mild in heat. If you like Asian food, you can’t go wrong with these wings. & they were sauced beautifully!

These were my favorite!

The Soy Garlic wings are aptly labeled "duh-licious" and we concur with that label. The salty soy is the first flavor note we tasted followed by mellow garlic and a bit of sweetness. These were my second favorite!

The Tangy Citrus were light and bright in every bite. They were tangy, zesty and sweet.

The Korean Dry-Rub “Buffalo” were a unique spin on the original and every bit as good.

All the wings were super crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside which can be attributed to them being twice-fried. All were gluten-free!

We also had the Miracle Chicken Burger which is made with Go+Chu+Jang chicken tenders piled high with WingWok's World Famous Seoul Slaw and crisp cucumber coin on a toasted potato bun.

This Chicken Burger was bomb and we loved how the tangy Seoul Slaw brought out the spice in the Go+Chu+Jang chicken.

While the focal point and star of WingWok’s menu is the fried chicken, WingWok is committed to dishing up traditional Korean side dishes such as Seoul slaw, kimchee, cuke-kimchee, white pickled radish, seaweed salad and Korean-style potato salad. There are also shareables available to order such as Kimchi Fried Rice and Fries. We went for the Famous Kimchi Fries. The Kimchi Fries are french fries served with spicy mayo.

Huge thanks to the WingWok team for having us in! Check it out babes and let them know that denv.her. sent you! Eat more Seol food xx
