Gregory took care of us and he was awesome. He explained the brunch menu to us in detail and gave us solid recommendations; all with contagious charisma.
We started off our brunch with Endless Bloody Marys & Bellini's for $15.
What sets this endless option apart from other restaurants you ask? You can SWITCH between Bloody Marys and Bellini's! Most brunch places make you choose one or the other but not QI and we freaking LOVE it.
There are two kinds of House Bloody Marys - Classic or The Dry-Aged Bloody. I started out with the classic. This Classic Bloody Mary was perfect. It was spicy, salty and had a nice overall savory flavor. This iconic cocktail is a brunch classic.
I can never drink more than 1-2 Bloodys because they are a bit heavy so then it was time to switch over to the bellinis! QI's signature bellini cart features Prosecco Mixed Tableside with a Selection of Housemade Juices and Purees: Grapefruit & Pomegranate, Cucumber Lime, and Classic White Peach. The White Peach was my favorite! & I enjoyed several lol. The Peach Bellini tasted of fruity honeyed peaches with a crisp and lively lime aftertaste.
For our mains, we ordered the Bananas Foster French Toast, the Brunch Style Chicken Parm Pizza and the Corn Gnudi.
The Bananas Foster French Toast is made with Nutella Spread and Candied Hazelnuts.
The Bananas Foster French Toast was a decadent treat with a subtle smoky rum flavor. The banana topping was deeply sweet with caramel flavors and the french toast itself was caramelized, rich and had a lovely dash of cinnamon flavor.
The Brunch Style Chicken Parm Pizza is made with Maple-Braised Bacon and Sunny Side Up Eggs.
OMFG YES PLEASE. The bacon bechamel sauce that generously coated the chicken parm pizza had a lovely white pepper taste. The mozzarella, parmesan and pecorino cheese that topped the chicken pizza were beautifully combined & melted together for a nice cheesy, tangy bodied flavor. The maple braised bacon bits were sweet and salty and complemented the chicken parm pizza in it's entirety. The sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked and had nice runny yolks which added a great texture component to the chicken parm. Arugula was brought as an additional topper that helps cut the richness of the dish (if you so desire).
The Chicken Parm Pizza was the ULTIMATE brunch dish - a must try!
The Corn Gnudi is made with King Crab, Pistachio and Basil.
This pasta was a homerun - the Gnudi (ricotta dumplings) were fluffy clouds of fresh ricotta that melted in our mouths. The dumplings with the summery sweet corn and lumps of fresh king crab were absolutely DEVOURED almost as soon as they were sat down on the table. More please!
