Vivace Facial, Skintastic Aesthetics

It's time to get your skin nice, tight & glowing Denver! I had my first Vivace Experience Facial at Skintastic Aesthetics this week & to say I am now a huge fan is an understatement!

Vivace is a radiofrequency microneedling facial that is minimally-invasive and FDA cleared. Vivace can address numerous skin concerns you may have such as improving skin tone and texture, minimizing pore size, tightening skin and alleviating fine lines and wrinkles. Vivace tackles these skin concerns by stimulating the natural production of collagen through radiofrequency microneedling. My main skin concern that I was looking to address with Vivace was improving skin tone and texture (specifically some acne scarring) & minimizing pore size.

I arrived at Skintastic Aesthetics and Co-Owner of Skintastic Aesthetics - Jeff - got me all checked in. Then Co-Owner and Medical Director - Danielle Sanders - took me back for my treatment. Danielle is a Nurse Practitioner and holds dual board certifications in Family Practice & Emergency Medicine. Danielle was vivacious & bright and made me feel so confident in her as a Vivace provider!

Danielle applied topical anesthetic numbing cream to my face and then I waited 30 minutes for the numbing to fully set in. I relaxed in the treatment chair & listened to an audio book while my face got nice and numb. The numbing cream is quite chilly so make sure to bring a jacket to your treatment!

After the 30 minutes, Danielle came back in and cleaned all the numbing from my face. My face was then sterilized with a couple of alcohol wipes and then it was time to start the Vivace Experience Facial!

Danielle began my treatment on my forehead and worked her way methodically down my face with the handheld Vivace device. The handheld Vivace device works by delivering radiofrequency energy as heat to the lower dermis layer of skin via tiny needles. The needles and heat create precise microdamage that jumpstarts your body’s cell-regeneration process.

The Vivace facial didn't hurt at all - there was a poking/pressure sensation as the Vivace device worked it's magic but that was it. I could tell that there was something happening to my skin but it wasn't uncomfortable or painful at any point.

Danielle did two passes over my face with the handheld Vivace device - the first with more depth and higher energy, the second pass with less depth and lower energy.

The Vivace Facial took about 45 minutes. Once my treatment was completed, Danielle applied a soothing sheet mask to my face. I wore this mask for about 10 minutes; the mask calmed my skin & minimized redness. Then I was on my way!

One of the huge upsides to the Vivace Experience? There’s virtually no downtime. I was pink for about 2 hours after treatment but then continued on with my day with no issues! My skin looked smoother and brighter within hours after my treatment.

Doctors recommend a course of three to four Vivace treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, for optimal results. I already booked my second treatment with Danielle!

Huge thanks to Vivace and Skintastic Aesthetics for providing this amazing treatment for me; I'm hooked!

Check it out babes & let them know that denv.her. sent you! xx
