Postino 9+CO

Postino 9+CO in Cherry Creek just opened its doors on October 19th making it Postino's third Denver location! 

Postino 9+CO is a must-visit, funky & vintage-inspired space where you'll find Postino’s infamous & tantalizing bruschetta boards along with bumping music and a fun-loving crowd. This will definitely be our new brunch/lunch/dinner stop, post shopping at Cherry Creek mall!

General Manager, Jackson and Server, MJ made us feel welcome the second we stepped foot inside Postino 9+CO and ensured we had an amazing dinner. 

We began our meal with a bottle of BIANCAVIGNA | Prosecco NV | Italy per MJ's recommendation!

This Prosecco is a light and refined sparkler with crisp acidity from pear, green apple, and nectarine. It's delicious and we'll 100% order again in the future - we happily polished off the entire bottle lol #cheers!

For food, we started off with two "Snacky Things" the Skewers and the Tuna Tartare.

The Skewers are grilled petite filet & chicken skewers laid on top of a thick sicilian garlic yogurt spread and drizzled with olive oil.

I cannot believe this was my first time having these skewers! They. Are. TOO. Good. The meat is juicy AF and the thick sicilian garlic yogurt spread is a huge smash - creamy & rich in flavor. We dosed each tender bite of meat in the delicious yogurt spread!

The Tuna Tartare is made with freshly diced tuna, salsa verde, persian cucumber, pine nuts, lemon oil, and focaccia crostini.

This is a great option for a lighter Snacky Thing.

We then moved on to the Bruschetta. We had the Brie with Apple & Fig Spread, the Smoked Salmon & Pesto, the Prosciutto Di Parm with Fig & Mascarpone, and the Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam with Goat Cheese.

The Brie with Apple & Fig Spread is my favorite bruschetta choice from Postino's! The sour & sweet bite of the granny smith apples, the subtle hint of berries in the fig spread & the flavorful brie makes this bruschetta choice a big winner.  

The Smoked Salmon & Pesto was fresh with a light smokey flavor from the fish and pleasant herby/garlicky notes from the pesto. This was my first time having the  Smoked Salmon & Pesto bruschetta and I will definitely be ordering it again in the future!

The Prosciutto Di Parm with Fig & Mascarpone combines prosciutto and fig (which go excellent together) with an Italian Mascarpone cheese that is oh so rich & creamy. The mascarpone really accents the sweetness of the fig while the prosciutto brings out a smoky salty flavor for this bruschetta .

The Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam with Goat Cheese is just that - spicy jam with a hint of sweet that compliments the generous tangy coating of goat-cheese (and you all know how much I love my goat cheese). DELICIOUS!

For dessert we had the Chocolate Bouchon and the Creme Brulee.

The Chocolate Bouchon is made with warm chocolate ganache and vanilla bean ice cream. This is MJ's favorite dessert so she brought it to us as a surprise and we're SO glad she did!

The Chocolate Bouchon is a small brownie like cake served piping hot with melted chocolate ganache and dusted with sugar. Crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, this chocolate beauty made for a V scrumptious dessert.

The  Creme Brulee is caramelized custard served with strawberries.

If you're a vanilla fan and looking for a classic - this will be the dessert for you.
