Le Bilboquet
Mangez bien, riez souvent, aimez beaucoup!
The French saying meaning "Eat well, laugh often, love abundantly." This saying perfectly encompasses the ambiance of Le Bilboquet - a bistro putting up Parisian cuisine in a gorgeous little setting in Cherry Creek.
denv.her. was invited to Le Bilboquet's Champagne Saturday for brunch and we were keen to check out this new French jewel gracing the Denver restaurant scene. & babes - we can confirm - this is finally a boozey (& boujee lol) brunch in Denver where you can get dressed up with your friends and let loose with some amazing cocktails, great food, a solid DJ and exceptional staff.
The cocktails at Le Bilboquet during their Champagne Saturdays abound - I couldn’t choose a favorite as all of them were delicious! The amazing staff ensured our glasses were filled at all times. #bottomsup
The - Les Horsd'Oeuvres - we were treated to included the La Saladede Betteraves et Chèvre, Les Endivesau Roquefort, La Planche de Charcuterie et Fromage, Le Crabe Avocat et Salade Exotique, & Le Tartare de Thon.
The La Saladede Betteraves et Chèvre is a Red and Golden Beet salad served with Sliced Goat Cheese and Orange.
This was my favorite starter! This bright beautiful salad with creamy goat cheese, earthy beets and citrusy orange had my taste buds singing! The perfect blend of flavors.
The Les Endivesau Roquefort is an Endive Salad served with Blue Cheese and Walnuts.
This is an elegant and simple salad. I enjoyed the subtlety of the dressing along with the slightly bitter endive flavor.
The La Planche de Charcuterie et Fromage is a Charcuterie & Cheese Combination board #yasplease.
This plate is self explanatory lol - if you're a charcuterie fan, you won't be disappointed with this starter.
The Le Crabe Avocat et Salade Exotique is Jumbo Lump Crab and Avocado with Exotic Salad.
This starter was amazing! It was light and fresh and just look at that presentation.
The Le Tartare de Thon is Tuna Tartare with Sesame Dressing.
This starter was also on point - a crispy cracker atop a generous portion of tuna just asking to be devoured. Healthy & delicious!
The - Les Entrees - we were treated to included the Le Poulet Cajun, Le Steak Frites, Le Pain Perdu, & Les Oeufs Benedict.
The Le Poulet Cajun is Le Bilboquet's Signature Cajun Chicken with Beurre Blanc and French Fries.
This dish is arguably Le Bilboquet's most popular so do not go without giving it a try!
The Le Steak Frites (steak & fries in French!) is a Skirt Steak served with Chimichurri Sauce and French Fries.
This is a traditional French dish that you will find at any well known brasserie in France. Great for any meat lover!
The Le Pain Perdu is Brioche French Toast with Maple Syrup.
This was Emily and I's favorite entree as we were in the mood for something sweet! Le Bilboquet's french toast is fluffy and incredibly delicious! & I always love when French Toast is made with Brioche Bread - brioche is on the sweeter side and has great texture.
Les Oeufs Benedict is a classic Eggs Benedict made with Poached Eggs served with Hollandaise Sauce, and Salmon atop an English Muffin.
Who doesn't like a solid Eggs Benedict? The hollandaise sauce was buttery, the salmon was fresh, & the poached eggs had nice and creamy yolks.
Huge thanks to the Le Bilboquet & team for having us in! After one try, we're obsessed & we already can't wait to come back!
Denverites, whether you are joining Le Bilboquet for brunch, lunch or dinner - be prepared for a stellar French inspired experience with service to match!
On se voit là-bas!
