Yoga on the Rocks + Soybu

Feeling #zenAF after our weekend at Yoga on the Rocks!

Every year, CorePower Yoga hosts several Saturday yoga sessions at the iconic Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. The early wakeup call on Saturday (hello 5 AM), is worth it to get to Red Rocks, get a good spot to set up your yoga mat, and watch the sunrise over downtown Denver. Class starts at 7 AM.

If you have never taken a CorePower yoga class, you are in for a very fun and centering workout. CorePower Yoga has 15 studios in Denver and a total of 25 in Colorado. They are a nationwide company (which we love because no matter where you travel or move to, you can take your CorePower Yoga practice with you). CorePower offers a variety of classes including Hot Power Fusion, C2, and Yoga Sculpt. If you are a first timer to CorePower, you get your first week of classes FREE! That’s right! So CorePower is definitely worth a shot if you’ve never been before.

Denver instructor, Marta, led our Vinyasa flow class at Yoga on the Rocks. Her music was #supschill with variations of tranquil tunes and electronic beats. Marta had us all over our mat from Warrior 2, to crow, to chair pose. She brought great variety to the class which we really enjoyed.

One of the things we love about CorePower Yoga is that each in each class there will always be a section specifically focused on building your core. Just be prepared for the burn as these ab sessions are no joke! We were subject to long sets of Eagle crunches in Marta’s class. Needless to say. we were V sore the next day.

Post savasana, we checked out all the vendors that had come out for this event. These vendors included Epic Bar, Propel, & Caribou Coffee. Thanks vendors for fueling all us yogis after our sweat sesh!

This event is a must attend for all Denverites! Yoga on the Rocks is super popular and generally sells out quickly, so if you’re ever interested in going, make sure you purchase tickets early on! We purchased our tickets about 2 months in advance.

Now the most important question. Who were we wearing?! We partnered with our favorite athletic clothing company, Soybu, for Yoga on the Rocks and they sent us featured pieces from their recently launched fall line!

Treslyn is wearing the Equilibrium Bra in Symbio and the Killer Caboose Hi-Rise Legging:

This sports bra is great people! The medium support in the Equilibrium bra holds everything up and in place (nobody wants a nip slip during downward dog am I right?). This bra also has pretty mesh paneling in the back. Soybu always keeps their clothing functional and fashionable!

The Hi-Rise Killer Caboose Leggings Treslyn is wearing provide extra waist coverage which we love for yoga. We hate when it feels like our stomachs are too exposed when transitioning yoga positions so these leggings fix that problem. The Killer Caboose leggings also are very flattering on the v important caboose area. Who doesn’t want a perky butt during yoga?!

Emily is wearing the Binary Tank in Black and Killer Caboose Hi-Rise Capris in Black:

This binary tank has a built in shelf bra and elongating detail to flatter your body. It has a cross back detail with mesh on the straps. These capris are the Killer Caboose Capris in black. We love the option of purchasing these workout pants in both capris or full leggings. The Killer Caboose line is a must have for you work out enthusiasts.

I'm wearing the Commando Legging in SpectraValence Tank and Equilibrium Bra in Vapor:

Stop the presses because these Commando Leggings are  the newest addition to the Soybu lineup. Soybu listened to their customers and has successfully delivered a product where women can feel 100% comfortable going commando in their pants. The Commando leggings have an internal liner in them which means no panties needed! These leggings meet denv.her.’s expectations and more! Not only are they functional, they are also stylish. Check out that cute mesh paneling on the calves!

Our Commando Leggings were paired with the Valence Tank which has a colorful flowing design, perfect for layering. The low cross back of this top allows us to show off the Equilibrium Bra paired with this outfit. This top is light and airy and perfect for a workout on those hot Colorado days.
