Ignite Kitchen + Cocktails
Brunching is a habit and we were ready for bottomless mimosas to the face when we rented out Ignite Kitchen + Cocktails’ rooftop for my 26th birthday! Can you say Sunday Funday? Ignite has an awesome rooftop patio where you can enjoy the Colorado summer, views, great food, and fun.
Ignite offers Bottomless Mimosas for $13.95 we all of us took full advantage of. Can you even call it brunch without mimosas? I don’t think so. For those who prefer Bloody Mary’s, Ignite has a classic Bloody or a Bacon Bloody that is made with Bacon vodka (yes please). You can get these for $8.95 each. And we can’t forget to mention that they have Frosé!! These are Ignite’s alcoholic slushees and they are DELCIOUS.
We were certainly a large group to handle and the staff of Ignite was courteous, fun, and helpful throughout the entire party. Huge shout out to Christina Carmazzi and the bartenders for taking care of us all day! The rooftop got rowdy to say the least and we would definitely rent out this patio again!
Ignite has a number of enticing brunch options but here were our favorites:
The Roasted Vegetable and Goat Cheese Scramble. Stop there, you had us at GOAT CHEESE. But for real, this scramble was hands the best we have had in Denver. With wood roasted seasonal vegetables, fresh herbs, breakfast potatoes, and most importantly, goat cheese, we licked this plate clean and felt no remorse doing so. The only thing we were upset about is when it was gone lol.
Cinnamon Roll Pancakes with a side of bacon. This is for the brunch goer that has a sweet tooth or the brunch goer that has to have their morning cinnamon roll. These cinnamon swirl pancakes are drizzled in a thick vanilla icing and topped with strawberries. These bad boys were delicious and we loved dipping the bacon into the vanilla icing. I’m never opposed to getting some sweet on the meat! (Side note: Ignite also offers “Man Candy” which is their bacon cooked in brown sugar. YUM. You can’t go to Ignite without giving Man Candy a try if bacon is up your ally!)
Green Chile Chicken Mac + Cheese with blackened chicken and house-made roasted green chile cheese sauce. Ugh you guys, this mac and cheese though. This meal was mouthwatering and we loved the spiciness from the green chiles combined with the creamy cheese. Is cheese a carb?
Crispy Korean Chicken Sandwich with Sriracha mayo, pickled vegetables, and a sesame-soy glaze. If you ever have a hankering for a crispy chicken, this sandwich will satisfy your cravings. This chicken sandwich is crunchy and juicy and we loved the Asian twist with the sesame-soy glaze.
Ignite’s staff was SO cordial about us bringing in an outside cake! Since it was a toasty day out, they even made room for my cake in their fridge upstairs so it wouldn’t melt!
Now this cake was EPIC people. My friend from CSU, Molly Witt has recently started her own baking business and not only are her cakes pieces of art, they taste amazing as well! She created the mermaid cake of my dreams and we were all blown away by how beautiful it was! Everyone at my party could not stop chatting about the overall gorgeousness of it!
Check her out on her insta page @prettysweet_magicmolllymoll for more of her baking goodness. Next time you need a cake, you know who to go to!
Now don’t limit your Ignite experience to just brunch. Ignite has phenomenal dinner options as well (their burgers are awesome) and specials during the week such as “Pitcher Perfect Thursdays” where you can get pitchers of select beer or Sangria for only $14! They also have “Wine Down Sundays” for half price bottles of wine!
Thank you for a great day Ignite and we’ll be back soon! Check it out readers and make sure to tell them denv.her. sent you!
