Sunday Brunch Buffet at The Inverness Hotel

Put on those stretchy pants people because the Sunday brunch buffet at The Inverness Hotel is a BEAST.

This brunch buffet is worth the price at only $39.93 for bottomless brunch and do not stop there! Make it $47.95 to add bottomless champagne for the mimosa lovers in the group. Not a champagne lover? Not to worry, upgrade to the unlimited Bloody Mary Bar for only $14. The Bloody Mary Bar comes with a plethora of spices and tasty treats to spruce up your drink however you desire.

I seriously can’t even list all the food options the Inverness Sunday brunch buffet has to offer but I will give a well-rounded synopsis (well-rounded is how you feel after you eat here too lol).

This is no ordinary breakfast buffet. You want the traditional breakfast foods? Don’t worry they have it. The breakfast fare comes with a chef ready to make your choice of omelet, a hardy display of eggs benedict, waffles with all the toppings you could ask for (Nutella, Nutella, Nutella), bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, breakfast pastries, and artisan meats and chesses.

Not feeling breakfast? My favorite food finds come at the Inverness’ specialty seafood display. Here you are greeted with an elaborate presentation of shrimp, crab, oysters and muscles. Go for the crab legs people; this is always what I load up my plate with. Those seafood choices not enough for you? Feel free to head over to the hand rolled sushi and sashimi station or take a trip to the smoked salmon & trout table.

For the meat lovers, don’t forgot to make your way over to the prime rib station!

Now what would a well-rounded breakfast buffet be without dessert? With as many entrée choices as they have, you won’t be surprised that the desserts take up their own entire section of the restaurant. At the dessert tables you’ll find numerous petit fours, cakes, pies, tortes, tarts, and trifles. You’ll also find a chef that will make you the flambé of the day paired with vanilla ice cream. I’ve had the peaches and pineapple flambé and both are delicious! You can never go wrong with a dessert that’s covered in liquor and briefly set on fire can you?

While you’re wandering around filling up numerous plates with all these delicious options, enjoy the live Jazz trio that plays by the main windows from 9:30am – 1:30pm ; there’s nothing like getting lulled to sleep by smooth beats while the food coma sets in.

Haven’t convinced you yet? This Sunday Brunch has won “Denver’s Best Brunch” award from Open Table and CitySearch.com. Westword awarded them with “Denver’s Best Blowout Brunch” award.
